How much does a car wrap cost? We get asked this question on a daily basis and to accurately quote our clients, we ask them a series of questions as each job is unique to the client and completely customizable.

  • What is the year/make/model?

The size and type of vehicle can greatly affect the price. For example, a 2 door coupe could cost less to wrap than a 4 door sedan. Some vehicles have more complex curves versus standard vehicles, such as a dually has some wicked fenders that take longer to install on.

If you have a van or box truck, then we would need to know sizing or have the vehicle brought to us to confirm measurements. For a van wrap, we need to know the Wheel Base length and the roof height, usually they are listed as standard roof, mid roof and high roof.

  • What is the current paint condition like? Is paint peeling or is there oxidation?

We always ask this question, especially if the vehicle is an older model. We have had many people reach out to us that either have paint peeling, oxidation occurring, body damage or a combination of all 3. Unfortunately, in cases like this, we do not recommend nor warranty wrapping or applying graphics to their vehicle as the vinyl does not stick properly and will not last as long as it was intended to. We have clients come to us who want us to wrap their vehicle in lieu of painting as they feel it will fix the issues of the peeling and oxidation. Unfortunately, it won’t and most of the time will only enhance the issues that are there making them more noticeable.

  • Does the vehicle currently have graphics on it?

If the answer is YES, then we follow up with asking for photos or to bring the vehicle by. We also ask the client if they know how long the current vinyl has been on the vehicle. We do not wrap over existing vinyl as it voids all warranty on the material and installation and the old vinyl can show through the new vinyl. If the vehicle has graphics on it, then they would need to be removed and we do offer this service at our location. We do not offer removals offsite as they can be very labor intensive and take multiple days to complete, so we require all vehicles for removal to be brought to us.

If the vinyl is older than 5 years, this usually means that the vinyl will be very difficult to remove as the vinyl bonds more and more to the vehicle, the longer it is on.. There is a possibility that either ghosting or paint will be lifted when we removing the graphics. If this happens, we will let you know right away and will send photos. We are partnered with a body shop, so if it looks like it may need to be repainted prior to installing new graphics, then we can get an estimate from them for paint.

Vinyl Removal DISCLAIMER: Removing wrapped vinyl can be done without any issue if vehicle’s original paint is in good condition.
  • Will this be a SOLID color car wrap?

A solid color car wrap which includes the material and installation at our location for the full exterior of a standard 2 door car including, mirrors and door handles is usually between $2,500-$3,500 whereas a 4 door car, truck, suv or van is between $3,500-$5,000. Items like antennas, spoilers, grills, after-market parts will add an additional cost for installation. A solid color change wrap is going to be more expensive than a commercial wrap as the detail required for a color change is much more extensive therefore requiring more material and more labor. We also include disassembling and reassembling all removable hardware such as door handles, mirrors, lights, etc to provide a clean finish. Specialty films with texture like carbon fiber, brushed metal and leather can add roughly $800-$1000 to the price of a wrap, whereas Chrome or other exotic finishes can add anywhere between $2000 to $4500 to a wrap on top of the installation cost.

  • OR will this be a DESIGNED, printed wrap (usually for commercial use)?

A commercial wrap is usually not as extensive as a solid color change wrap, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t care as much. We take great care in either type of wrap and ensure the best quality wrap we can produce. Typically a commercial wrap does not involve wrapping door handles, mirrors or bumpers. This means less material and less hardware to disassemble and reassemble, reducing the cost of the wrap. a commercial 2 door or Fiat car wrap for a car starts at $2,000+tax (not including design cost if needed) (wrap includes all 4 sides, not including roof, door handles, or mirrors).4 door cars, vans and trucks typically range from $3,000-$5,000 depending on the size. Commercial wraps almost always include design and we do have very skilled group of designers in house. Design is additional fee, but we do offer free consultations.

Below are a few additional questions we often get asked on for pricing, but to get exact pricing, please give us a shout!

  • How much is a chrome wrap?

  • How much is it to wrap my hood or wrap my roof?

The price ranges from $250-$500. Price varies on type of hood or roof and color chosen.

  • How much are stripes on a Mustang or Camaro?

Basic Color Dual 6″-8″ wide stripes START at $600 for the vinyl and installation at our location. Price varies on color and style of stripes and vehicle.

  • How much do vehicle DECALS cost?

These range widely depending on type of vehicle, size and quantity of decals needed. These can be a fraction of a wrap, starting in the lower hundreds for design, print and installation, but can range into 1-2 thousand.

  • Can I bring my own material in and have you all install it?

Yes, you can, but we don’t recommend it though unless it comes from a reputable online company that solely sells vehicle rated vinyl. If you purchase the vinyl from some online web mall, then you risk the chance of getting non-vehicle rated vinyl. Some sellers sell the vinyl stating you can use it on a vehicle, but in reality, the vinyl is not meant for vehicles and they sell you a cheaper material so they can make more of a profit. If you purchase vinyl that is not rated for vehicles, then the install is more difficult and there is a chance that paint will lift when it is time to remove the vinyl. For these reasons, we do not warranty on installs on materials brought to us.
